Hello and welcome to my first blog entry from Greg Finch and No Debt University!
The intent behind my blog is to help as many people as I can eliminate or at the very least reduce their debt and ultimately the dependency on financial institutions. You see, I was just like many of you! I learned my lessons mainly from the school of hard knocks and now many years of reading, researching and developing my system.
As I write my first blog I must share some sad news…my brother-in-law (my wife’s brother) passed away last week after a battle with cancer. So, my first blog is in memory of Mitch.
Mitch is my inspiration this week and as tough as the last couple of weeks have been for my wife and our entire family it is important that I look for the lesson life provides in such a tough time. It didn’t take very long for the lesson to become very clear!
The best time to prepare for your future is TODAY (if you did not start it yesterday)! Life can be very unpredictable and in some cases shorter than we ever expected. You see my brother-in-law Mitch was only 45 years old when he passed leaving behind hundreds and even thousands of people whose lives he touched ( Mitch was a Chiropractor). Mitch also has left behind an amazing family consisting of 5 incredible children and a loving wife. Certainly he left this earth with many dreams still to be fulfilled and many more people to be touched!
So why do I bring this up? None of us have a crystal ball as to what lies in our future. What we all must understand is just how important it is to plan and position ourselves financially so we can be equipped to handle any situation life deals us!
My thought this week is simple and one that I hope you follow…
DO learn from your financial past and change what has not been working…
DO start your financial planning today because the sooner you start the sooner you will have the life you deserve …
DO build on your plan tomorrow and the next day and so on. You will be amazed how quickly you will succeed!
DON’T put this off another day. The longer you delay the longer you will be unhappy…
DON’T ever doubt your ability. You don’t need a degree in finance just the knowledge …
DON’T ever question the power of your mind. Given the opportunity your mind will help you achieve the life you dream of. All it needs is a positive direction to go…
Life is too short…live it the fullest...live it like you mean it and lastly enjoy every single minute!
I look forward to your thoughts, comments and questions as we kick off my inaugural blog. I look forward to helping as many people as I can obtain financial freedom! All the best until next week!
